Dear Riverdale Middle School Parents, Guardians, Students, and Community,
A new school year brings new opportunities, new goals, and new possibilities. At Riverdale Middle School, we are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and excellence with each of you.
At RMS, we Lead with Love while Expecting Excellence Every Day from everyone, our students, staff, families, and community. Together, we will continue building a school culture where every scholar is challenged, supported, valued, and inspired to reach their highest potential.
Riverdale Middle School continues to serve as a beacon of inspiration and opportunity for all of Spartan Nation. Last school year, our students achieved significant gains on the Georgia Milestones Assessment in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. These accomplishments are a direct reflection of the hard work of our students, the dedication of our outstanding staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community partners. Thank you for being an essential part of our success.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains steadfast. We will not compromise when it comes to student safety or student achievement. Every decision we make will be centered on creating a safe, engaging, and academically challenging environment where all scholars can thrive.
Student engagement remains one of our highest priorities. This year, we are striving for 100% student participation through academics, athletics, fine arts, clubs, and other extracurricular activities. We believe every student should have the opportunity to discover their talents, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful connections beyond the classroom.
Our dedicated staff is committed to meeting every scholar where they are academically, socially, and emotionally while providing the support, encouragement, and high-quality instruction needed to propel them forward. Every child can succeed, and together we will ensure they have every opportunity to do so.
Great things continue to happen at Riverdale Middle School because of our incredible students, our exceptional staff, and the supportive community we are privileged to serve. We are excited about the journey ahead and look forward to partnering with you as we make the 2026–2027 school year our best yet.
